Adem\u00e1s, nos facilitar\u00e1 la obtenci\u00f3n de la loncha. A continuaci\u00f3n limpiaremos parcialmente el jam\u00f3n despejando la zona que vamos a trinchar y consumir. Marcaremos los puntos inicial y final para que el corte sea lo m\u00e1s recto posible. Utilizaremos movimientos de vaiv\u00e9n para obtener nuestras lonchas de jam\u00f3n. Una vez lleguemos al hueso, lo marcaremos con nuestro cuchillo universal de cocina. Esto tiene dos finalidades, despegar la carne del hueso y obtener las lonchas con facilidad, y evitar desafilar el cuchillo al golpear el hueso. Un cuchillo limpio se desliza mucho mejor sobre la superficie del jam\u00f3n. Comenzaremos el corte del jam\u00f3n haciendo un corte por debajo del hueso y luego le daremos la vuelta exactamente en la punta del jam\u00f3n con el corte. Luego haremos un corte en diagonal hacia el anterior consiguiendo un corte en forma de cu\u00f1a.   <br><br>A continuaci\u00f3n marcamos los puntos inicial y final para ayudarnos a hacer cortes rectos.
